Serve. Protect. Educate.

Mission of the North Shore Fire/Rescue Foundation

The North Shore Fire/Rescue Foundation, represented by each of the seven North Shore communities, is dedicated to providing equipment and educational programs to the men and women of the department and to the citizens served by the North Shore Fire Department.

In 2006, the Foundation funded a full time summer intern that began the three-year Fire Accreditation process. The Accreditation process is a structured method that will document the levels of fire safety, prevention, education, and fire suppression services that are currently provided. Our 2006 intern from Okalahoma State University worked hard to start this process and the Foundation would like to continue to support such an important program. The Foundation continued to fund fire prevention materials that reached over 5,000 North Shore school children this year.

Your contribution to the North Shore Fire/Rescue Foundation is tax-deductible. On behalf of the North Shore Fire/Rescue Foundation, we thank you for your consideration and support.

A Director need not be a resident of the community by which he or she is nominated, but if not a resident, then that Director must have some substantial connection to that community through business, professional service or community organization. If you have an interest in participating on the Board level, please contact your community's elected official.
