Fee Schedule for Emergency Medical Services

Effective January 1, 2009

Ambulance Conveyance Fees

Resident transported to a hospital - $625.00 - $675.00
Non-resident transported to a hospital - $675.00 - $725.00

In addition to the basic charge above all patients will be charged the following if applicable:

$14.00 per mile (from scene to hospital)
$75.00 for oxygen therapy
$50.00 a flat charge when any non-reusable equipment is used
$85.00 for defibrillation
$50.00 for IV and supplies
$65.00 for intubation
$85.00 for EKG
$85.00 for Epi-pen
$25.00 - $40.00 for most commonly administered drugs

Medical Treatment without a Conveyance

If the Department provides medical treatment that does not end in a transport, the patient will be charged as follows:

Resident: $105.00
Non-resident: $150.00

Fire Department Clean up Services

If an owner’s property or vehicle has created a potential hazard in the public right of way, and the Department provides services to eliminate or reduce the hazard, the owner will be charged a $500.00 fee for services.
