The Resuscitation Research Center (RRC) in the Department of Emergency Medicine department at the Medical College of Wisconsin is supported by federal funding to collaborate with researchers, clinicians and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at the local and national level on observational and interventional clinical trials in the areas of emergency resuscitation and neurological emergency research.

Value of Consolidated Fire / EMS Agencies
North Shore Fire/Rescue celebrated it's 20th anniversary in 2015. In conjunction with the anniversary, the Public Policy Forum, a private, non-profit, independent research organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of public policy decision-making in southeast Wisconsin, studied the impact the consolidated fire department has had on the communities it serves.
